· Assist in pre-event set up at the LeftBank Annex *note: new venue*

General Auction Set-up (Friday, March 2 or Saturday, March 3, 2018)
· Assist in pre-event set up during the day on Friday or Saturday at the Oregon Convention Center
· Live, silent, super silent auction and “buy-it-now” area set-up includes placing auction items and signage in correct locations, verifying items and using décor to enhance displays
· Table set up includes distributing chairs, placing linens, centerpieces, menus and gifts on tables
· Other tasks as requested; could include lifting heavy (25 lb.) items; this is a physical task

· Assemble guest registration materials (for 400+ couples)

Volunteer Hospitality (Saturday, March 3, 2018)
· Assist volunteers who wish to check their coats (bring a book for the slower times); please do not leave coats unattended

Wine Tasting Station Assistant (Saturday, March 3, 2018)
· Assist wine tasting stations with load-in of their wine
· After load-in is complete, assist stations with any requests including retrieving items needed (such as glassware and ice, etc.)

Silent Auction Steward (Saturday, March 3, 2018)
· Monitor a designated area of the Silent auction
· Guard auction items against theft
· Assist guests in locating auction packages and encourage bidding; outgoing personality and customer service skills are necessary for this position

Greeter (Saturday, March 3, 2018)
· Greet and assist guests in locating registration, silent, super silent, buy it now and live auction areas, wine tasting stations, restrooms, coat check, ring toss, etc.

· Encourage guests to play ring toss game; track guest bidder number or accept card and cash payments. Run game according to instructions.

· Using guest list and map provided, direct guests to their assigned table in the ballroom

· Work with Wine Stewards and Item Pick Up volunteers to transport packages, after they have been sold, from the ballroom to the Item Pick Up area. Shopping carts provided for transport.
· Wine handlers are required to remain in their position until the end of the live auction and until all items have been transported to the Item Pick Up area; must be able to lift 50 pounds

· Respond to the needs of Team Leaders, the Volunteer Director or Classic Wines Auction staff throughout the evening

Live Auction Runner (Saturday, March 3, 2018)
· Work in the ballroom during the live auction
· As packages are sold, take live auction paperwork from clerk near stage to guest for signature, then to staff at registration
· Runners are required to remain in their section for the entire duration of the event (breaks provided)

Clean-up (post-auction, Saturday, March 3, 2018)
· Transport wine and other items from lobby, ballroom and item pick up area to storage room after guests have departed
· Transport signage, supplies and other materials to the storage room
· Ability to stay out until 1:00am (note: mass transit does not run all night)
Comfortable shoes, jeans, t-shirt, must be able to lift 40 pounds, shift will be after the Auction at night
